For over a century, Kelly Duplex has been manufacturing industrial processing and material handling machinery to handle a wide range of materials and applications for industrial processes. We have specialized in building heavy-duty, trouble-free machines to meet our customer’s individual needs. Our goal is not to sell a new machine to replace a 5-7 year old machine, but to install a new unit next to the original one. As our customers grow, we grow.
We specialize in building mixers and blenders for both continuous and batch operations. These mixers may be handling a very small batch of chemicals in a laboratory, bulking complete trailer loads of plastic, or adding water to ash in a foundry. With our experience and design expertise, we can manufacture mixers and blenders to meet just about any customer’s application.
We also offer a variety of mixing actions for both batch and continuous operations. We can design mixers and blenders to gently handle products or to very aggressively apply shear for high-energy mixing dispersion.
In addition to our mixers & blenders, we also manufacture a complete line of complementary material handling equipment.

Model 110 Mix 'N Grind
Combination Hammermill/Mixer 5 HP drives; Serial #M01003
The KELLY DUPLEX Model 110 combination hammermill/mixer is suitable for grinding and mixing most free-flowing materials weighing between 20 and 60 pounds per cubic foot. This combination machine is particularly suitable for grinding various grains and mixing the ground grains with additives, producing superior animal feeds in small batches. The Model 110 has a working mixing capacity of 32 cubic feet and can easily produce 1000-pound batches of most feeds. Standard equipment includes a bagger discharge at a 34" discharge height. Many other sizes and capacities of the Mix 'N Grind are available. Ask for specifications and price sheet #108111Q.
Model 110 standard equipment includes:
32 CF vertical spiral mixer Motor drives and mounts totally enclosed shields Interlocking limit switches Two mixer inlet hoppers Mixer cone hinged panel Bagging discharge Mixer sight port 15" hammermill Hammermill inlet hopper Operator's Manual Case Padlockable control switch.
9" Tubular Screw Feeder with 1 HP Variable Speed Drive
Molasses Spray manifold with pump and meter
Product Number: 4350; 68811-H05418
This high-intensity Twin Rotor Continuous Mixer provides an excellent method of adding molasses or fat to dry feed previously mixed in a Kelly Duplex vertical or horizontal mixer. A screw feeder transfers dry, mixed product uniformly to the Twin Molasses Mixer. This mixer, operating at 1100 RPM with a 7-1/2 HP drive, can produce from 6 to 10 tons per hour of average 35 pounds per cubic foot material. Features include a complete, easy-to-adjust control system that lets one operator set and maintain the most exacting liquid to solid proportions. Standard equipment includes a liquid flow meter, a pressure gauge, and a dial indicator valve. Pumps, strainers, core heaters, valves, and meters are available for practically any liquid material.
Gauges used in molasses pumping systems
The meter is mated with a protective diaphragm, which protects the meter mechanism from the effects of molasses and other measured materials. The diaphragm is filled with glycerin, and then the meter is calibrated before shipment. The diaphragm provides extra life and improved accuracy to the meter.
Heaters, strainers, pumps, gauges, valves and meters
Molasses/Fat continuous flow core heater with 60-250 F. thermostat in NEMA IV enclosure. 230 or 460 VAC, single or three phase. 6000 watts. 115 pounds.
Model 222B, Low Frame with Aspirator
(Used to process shelled corn, wheat and oat groats)
Serial #M01043, December 1999
The Model #222B Kelly Duplex Corn Cutter and Grader is a two-screen grader combined with a grain cutter head that processes up to 7,000 pounds per of shelled corn per hour and produces two grades of sized particles with the fine meal screened off and removed with air aspiration. Standard equipment includes a 7-1/2 HP motor drive, a built aspiration fan and a cyclone separator for collection of fine particles. This unit combines cutting, grading, cleaning and polishing operations in one compact machine that produces high capacity at low maintenance and power costs. The final product is accurate, uniform and of unusually excellent appearance.
Operation is simple and trouble-free. The grain first enters the cutter unit, where a set of high-speed knives cut it. When it has been reduced to its proper size, it passes through a perforated screen and drops onto a grading shoe. Here, a rotary oscillating action sifts the grain through screens of different mesh and separates it into grades. The aspirating equipment then cleans and polishes each grade, removing hulls and trash. Optional equipment includes a cutter head with a built-in bypass that permits whole grain to bypass the cutter chamber and go directly to the shoe for cleaning, and a magnetic separator installed in the inlet hopper.
Model LM6
Laboratory and Small Production Hammermill
Bench and portable models available
1 to 5 HP, single phase or three phase
Reference: Serial #69194-H15395
The Kelly Duplex Model LM6 Hammermill features a 6" wide x 10-1/2" diameter rotor. The mill weighs about 150 pounds and is compact 24" high, including a 12" x 12" inlet hopper. Hammer tip speed at 1750 RPM is 1530 FPM. Hammer tip speed at 3550 RPM is 3100 FPM. Power input can range from 1 to 5 HP, depending on the intended application. Price as illustrated, with 1-1/2 HP single phase motor and drive: $4,990.00 F.O.B. Factory.

This 9-inch tubular screw conveyor, 52" long endplate to endplate, and constructed of T304SS is designed for hand breakdown and frequent cleaning. The tubular housing pivots on a fixed base so that the discharge end swings away from the work area for convenient maintenance. The internal conveyor parts are polished for easy cleanup. The spiral is slotted into the drive shaft and into the tail shaft so that re-assembly is accomplished by simply slipping the parts together after cleaning.
